  Nice apt, nice location

  Liked: A nice apartment with a kitchenette, good location. Comfy bed, clean.

  Disliked: The air conditioning didn't work when I arrived. It was fixed the very next day but the repair workers arrived without any prior notice, which was a bit awkward.

  Exceptional but slow to reply to communications

  Liked: Everything exceptional except speed of reply to communication

  Disliked: The contact number listed on booking is extremely slow, if you are lucky, to reply to any form of communication. Once you arrive and you meet the caretaker, who has a different number, it is much easier.

  If you want to see Mantova from inside

  Liked: Beautiful chess ceiling, much space, perfect quiet location near the hidden river. And a parking! We felt as we were living in Mantova. Special thanks to Daniele, who saved us in all our difficulties! And to Matteo, who was always available by phone.

  A nice apartment in good location spoiled by lack of attention to preparation

  Liked: A pleasant, good sized studio apartment, located within a short walk of the centre of Mantua in a very quiet street.

  Disliked: Needs better attention to detail: 3 of the 4 hot plates on the hob didn't work, one bedside wall light wasn't functioning neither was the light in the utility area. The plug in the basin didn't work (we luckily always carry a universal one), there was no bath mat, kitchen towels or washing up cloth. There was no clothes airer, the ironing board had no cover on it and there was no iron. Also the washing machine flooded almost the entire apartment as the waste pipe had come away from the drain. Luckily we were there but didn't notice as we were reading. The caretaker, who was very amenable and apologetic, sorted it but we had to clear up the water using every towel in the place.
