  Great spot wrong room!

  Liked: Owner sent a message with instructions. These were all fine although 3 sets of steps to room and 3 different locks with no one to help with bags. Accommodation was in great position, bathroom was lovely

  Disliked: I am afraid we did not see host the whole stay despite their being a reception desk. The room was at the top of the building in the roof space which was large and generous b ut air conditioning poor and no windows with view. Just small windows below roof line. Little air flow and temperature regularly in high 30s. We asked for a couple of fans and for kettle to be fixed/replaced and some coffee pods. Received a reply which was.... okay, okay, yes. But nothing happened or changed. In fairness other rooms looked better and all other guests were happy. If you are staying here make sure you do not have top room.

  Great location, great value

  Liked: The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk to Piazza Erbe. The space itself was large, with a separate living room and kitchen area. The WiFi was fine… once we figured it out. The few staff we saw were eager to help.

  Disliked: Generally, there’s little staff on-site, so it can be difficult to reach someone. Our bedroom was up a flight of spiral stairs, a bit ominous in the day, not to mention the night. You are on your own, for better or for worse.

  Good central location but dreadful communication

  Liked: The central location

  Disliked: Very difficult communication with the owner. Despite three calls to him from Booking.Com agents and messages from me, I only heard we could arrive at my requested time and have a garage space just before we left for our flight. I thought it was all a scam and had booked another hotel in case, which I then cancelled and it cost me €150. Despite several promises of meeting us by the owner, he never turned up on time if at all. Only the cleaning lady on reception was of any help. Other guests had similar problems. Compared to other properties where owners go out of their way to welcome and assist guests, this is one I would not reccomend unless the owner pays more attention to his guests.

  disappointing facilities and unable to sleep due to broken aircon

  Liked: no breakfast

  Disliked: despite repeatedly asking, the aircon unit was never fixed. The staff knew it wasnt working and told us on checking that it would be fixed that evening. But it was not. And we struggled to sleep due to the heat and stuffiness. When I pursued the next day for this to be fixed, it again was not. So we had a 2nd night in stifling heat. This is not acceptable

  Inexpensive for location but significant disadvantages

  Liked: Clean, smartly furnished, large overall area (see 'dislikes') and good location Good value for money

  Disliked: Communication with the agent/host was poor. He never responded to the initial request for check in time and on our arrival sent his cleaner with a young girl to translate - our 'orientation' to the apartment was minimalist. The parking garage was secure but the host wanted to have our car keys and initially we had no access to our vehicle after parking it, as the garage was locked. The next day we were given a key after repeated attempts to contact the host. The apartment consisted of a kitchen/living area and a bedroom/bathroom on the other side of a hallway through which other residents passed on their way to an apartment on the next floor. Thus as we moved back and forward between bedroom and living area it was necessary to keep locking the other 'half' of the apartment for security purposes.
