Liked: Location
Disliked: I booked a superior double with twin beds, when I arrived I was given a double bed for myself and my son and told no more twins were available until our second night, so we had to stay in a different room our first night then swap the second
Convenient and very friendly staff
Liked: Beautiful hot dinner after a long dat of travelling.
Brief welcome overnight stay
Liked: Very convenient for station. Friendly and welcoming staff at reception and at breakfast.
Disliked: No tea making facilities in room. At breakfast. No bowls for cereal - I had to use a mug. And spoons were plastic despite the environmental policy (which otherwise feels good). Other cutlery was metal so why not the spoons?
We like this hotel, modern design, clean, very good breakfast
Liked: Location was great, close to Milano Centrale Train Station. Breakfast was good. Room a little small, but enough for us.
Disliked: There were no shower door in bathroom, and when you take a shower the water comes out. We had to use a towel to prevent water flow on the floor.
It was adequate
Liked: Friendly staff, who tried to help but could not always do so - see comments below. The location is close to central station and to metro and tram lines into town. The air con worked.
Disliked: Wifi in our top floor room did not work. The staff gave me three different networks to try but none of them had a persistent signal. Fortunately I have roaming data included on my phone, which I was able to use as a hotspot for my wife's phone and my laptop. Very little room to hang clothes in our room. Bathroom with a glass door had a bright mirror light that could not be turned off, and a motion sensitive ceiling light that came on automatically when entering the room. The lights disturbed our sleep. Even on the seventh floor street noise (particularly from trams) was intrusive. Breakfast was rather limited compared to other hotels we stayed at. Poor for the price. When I asked for cereal bowls the restaurant staff said to me "here is one bowl. There are only two bowls in the whole hotel. They have been on order for a year. What a hotel!" Although the location was convenient it felt a bit seedy and run down.
Liked: Friendly helpful staff. 24 hour reception. Nothing was a problem. Clean well maintained facility really close to Milano Centrale, trams and buses.
