Exceptional
Casa Benny is a happy respite just outside the center of Milan
Liked: This was a bright and happy colored apartment in yellows, oranges, and reds located just outside the heart of the city. You walk about 10 minutes to the Argonne or Susa Metro and you're at the Duomo in minutes. The apartment was spacious and well kept, with a slight nod to its tribal decor. We were met by friendly Paola who handed us the keys. We were relaxed and comfortable during our week's stay. There is a mini mart only 5 minutes away to get food and drinks. Overall, if you don't mind being located just east of the heart of the city- and you shouldn't as the Metro is fast and convenient- then we recommend Casa Benny 10 out of 10! (On a side note, Paola recommended a small family run restaurant just around the corner called Pizzeria Oceania. They had the best calzone I ever tasted and we are from Chicago!!)
Disliked: The only occasional trouble we had was the inability to quickly learn how to unlock the duo-lock apartment door, but eventually got the hang of it.
A great and comfortable place with the nicest host
Liked: We was greeted welcome in the apartment personally and its such a nice place with lots of room. The host is so sweet and helpful. Even keeping us updated on the local events and metro disturbances. Which was great! The place was clean and located very well. We will definitely like to stay here again.
Disliked: Only one suggestion, for an even better experience. Visiting in the warmer periods and being barefoot inside (we did not have slippers), the small outside balcony needed a wash both table, chairs and the floor, so as not to get dirty feet.
Paola is a lovely and a lot of help
Liked: Very convenient. Good location and lovely host.
Liked: Fantastic location, 5 minutes away from the nearest subway stop. There is supermarket, ATM and many restaurants near the apartment. The kitchen is very well equipped, there is everything you might need (including salt, pepper, seasoning, oil, tea, coffee, wine bottle opener and so on). Same is true for the rest of the apartment - there is everything you might need (towels, body wash, shampoo, tissues, hair dryer, pads and tampons, umbrella, just to name a few). It can be harder to find, because there are many shelves and cupboards, but it is in the most logical one. Also bins for recycling were a very nice surprise. The apartment is very comfotable and I would recommend it to everyone. Even though the apartment is on a busier street, it is very quiet. The owner Paola is very nice and helpful, she help me with everything I needed and gave me reccomodations.
Disliked: Jist one small detail that could be improved - the shoverhead could be replaced, the water goes kinda everywhere. Maybe have a list of all the equiptment in the apartment, there is much more than I am used to from simmilar accomodation and there are so many places to search. Just to note - elevator is an old-fashioned one, but works fine once you get the hang of it.
Liked: There was a great host, so kind and helpful. Paola gave a lot of good advices and was care about our rest. Also there were a lot of small details that made our rest comfortable and nice
