  Lovely apartment in city center

Liked: This adorable apartment is just the right size for a lovely stay in Modena city center. Our host was fantastic! She welcomed us in person and took time to share information about Modena. She gave us great restaurant recommendations and helped us navigate booking taxis. The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed. Thank you, Barbara!! We were so happy with our stay!

Nice apartment! Just do not bring bulky stuff

Liked: Nice apartment. So close to city center.

Disliked: Unfortunately the apartment is situared on the 4th floor and it has no lift. It would be very difficult if you have luggage with you particularly bulky ones, too inconvenient...

Great hostess, location and apartment facilities

Liked: First of all, Barbara, the landlord is an exceptional hostess. She is a fine lady who responded to all of my needs, made good suggestions regarding restaurants and sites, and even took it upon herself to get me a taxi to take me to the train station. The apartment was clean, well equipped and excellently located in the old city. The apartment was quiet and the bed was so comfortable.

Disliked: I could easily give her a 10/10 were it not for the climb to the fourth floor. There is no lift so I had to climb the stairs shlepping my two heavy pieces of luggage. I am 79 years old and found this task difficult. Again, not fault of Barbara's. I come from a warm climate country and the new European directive to limit the heating temperature to no warmer than 22°C was difficult for me to deal with. I was cold, even with 5 layers of clothing. Again, not fault of Barbara's.

Perfect for stay in beautiful Modena

Liked: The place was absolutely perfect for my stay. The location couldn’t be better – just a short walk to main attractions and shops. The apartment had everything I needed, very comfortable and well-equipped, and it felt like home from the moment I arrived. The host Barbara was extremely kind and always ready to help. I would definitely stay here again if back to Modena!
