Exceptional
Perfect home base for the region and felt like home each day when we returned
Liked: Excellent location near heart of center, but on a quiet side street. Felt very home like, inspired us to cook there after 2 weeks of eating out.
Disliked: Lots of steps, but not a serious obstacle to the overall experience--well worth it.
Liked: Elisabetta was warm and welcoming, and she very kindly gave us vouchers for a complimentary breakfast at a nearby cafe. Her charming apartment is centrally located on a quiet street. It is thoughtfully decorated and felt like home away from home. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen and living room were spacious. Elisabetta provided a list of recommended restaurants and brochures of local attractions. It’s the perfect place for a couple visiting marvelous Modena.
Beautiful oasis
Liked: Beautiful apartment. Very comfortable and spacious. Excellent air conditioning. No street noise but very close to great bars and restaurants. Wonderful and generous hosts who organised ZTL pass so we parked 50m from the door during our stay — very easy to access. Elevator makes taking bags up very easy. Great recommendations from host for places to visit including acetaia and restaurants.

Liked: What a beautiful apartment right in the heart of Modena! Spacious, bright, tastefully appointed, full of character, and perfectly located. Elisabetta was such a kind and attentive host! She personally arranged our parking, and was there at the apartment to check us in and out. We would definitely come back.
Disliked: Everything was perfect, however the water pressure in the shower could be improved.
Great location, nice flat and superb host but some building shortcomings
Liked: Elisabetta was a fantastic host, meeting us on checkin and leaving really helpful guidance on sights, activities and restaurants. She could not have been more helpful and responded immediately on an issue we had. The location is really good and Elisabetta arranged a street parking permit for us. The lounge is super comfortable and a nice place to relax, the A/C works really well in the 40c temperatures we faced during our stay and the sheets on the bed are very luxurious. We enjoyed two really lovely dinners at a particularly good restaurant nearby that was recommended by Elisabetta.
Disliked: Water pressure in the bathroom is poor, the bathroom basin requires really big steps up to get to the basin and there aren’t enough power points for the appliances in the kitchen or living room.
Great location, lovely host. Fix water pressure for perfect stay
Liked: Location was superb. Host was fantastic! Always available to help with suggestions. She even parked her car near the apartment so we would have a space for ours since we were very unfamiliar with where to park. Provided dining suggestions and a map of the area. Provided extras like slippers, large towels, and umbrellas. Comfortable bed. There was an elevator for luggage. Grocery store walking distance.
Disliked: There is a serious problem with water pressure. If someone in another unit is showering, you only have a trickle of water. I realize the host said they are working on the issue, but this was rather inconvenient as you couldn’t shower when you wanted but had to wait. I have long hair - was in the shower with soap in my hair and the pressure was lost. I could not rinse my hair. If this was not an issue, I would’ve rated a 10/10. Note - This is an apartment experience so we did get someone ringing our door at 3:00 which woke us.
