  Lovely romantic and family place, easy to walk after great wine and food!

  Liked: The location is just perfect, on the same street level as many bars and restaurants. No steep hill to climb or long distance to walk after good food and wine. The rooms are very spacious and super comfortable. Bathrooms are big and good quality. There is some food, snacks, and coffee for a simple but good breakfast.

  Disliked: I booked two rooms. One for a couple and another for three people. Both were very comfortable, but the room for 3 downstairs can be noisy with guests coming from the top floor. The AC in the room downstairs was not working at all, and even after complaining and being checked, it was still not working. It was a super hot day and no air circulation, so we had to open windows. Consider an upstairs room for the hot season.

  Best location in Montalcino

  Liked: Fantastic location!!! and considering the 37 degrees outside, the airco was very good and very smooth (noise wise).

  Superb apartment but access is tricky

  Liked: We loved the space in the apartment, it was super-clean, the bathroom was spacious and modern, and it was in a great location on the edge of the old town. Quality fixtures and fittings throughout, felt newly decorated - a superb apartment.

  Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like, although communication beforehand with the host wasn’t great - we emailed a request twice which went unanswered. We were also told to drive to the apartment first, then free parking would be available. It proved impossible to drive to the apartment, which is in the restricted zone, so this caused confusion initially. However, we did find free parking eventually, thanks to a friendly shopkeeper, but not in the place the host told us about.
