Exceptional
good value and location in an expensive town
Liked: Breakfast was oK, basic items available. Staff was very helpful. Large rooms. Great center of town location and family run. Excellent restauarant for evening meals.
Disliked: No chair in a large room. Basic tv, no streaming.

Excellent location with convenient parking
Liked: Excellent location on the town’s main street directly across from the bus stop. There is convenient parking in an underground garage behind the hotel for €10 per day. You can drive on the pedestrian only street and park in front of the hotel to unload your luggage. Nice Bavarian style décor inside and out. Small lobby area with an elevator (lift) to the rooms. Our room was small but marginally adequate for an overnight stay. There was a wardrobe closet, but no luggage rack and very tight space to put your luggage. No desk, just a tall shelf with a stool. There was a sufficient number of electrical outlets, TV, WIFI, small safe, but no refrigerator. Comfortable large double (US King size) bed. An adequate-size bathroom. Nice breakfast dining area, breakfast buffet with the usual items, nothing special.
Disliked: I would have rated this hotel a 9, except for these issues: The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. The duvet was very heavy and too hot, there is no A/C, but probably not needed most of the year. There was very limited counter space in the bathroom to put your toiletry items. The walk-in shower was very small and would not be suitable for larger people. The shower head was inexpensive, as were the low-quality shampoo/body wash. Not a big negative but be aware that European hotels don’t provide wash clothes, and shampoo and conditioners are often limited, or of poor quality, we bring our own. The hotel price was on the high side for what you get, but typical for region.
Liked: Fantastic location. Next to the bus stop and close to lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Staff were very helpful.
A very good option when in Ortisei
Liked: Location (on the Main Street and across from the bus station) room size, friendly staff, clean, breakfast.
Disliked: The parking garage was intimidating when there were a lot of cars. Parking slots were far too narrow.
Amazing location, great hotel overall
Liked: Amazing location just a short walk to the main gondolas and right in the middle of the town. The hotel had everything i needed. And had a nice free breakfast every morning.
Disliked: The only complaint I have is the one of the main hotel staff had terrible English which actually caused some stressful moments regarding transportation info as he was unable to communicate with me or understand me when I needed important info. Surprised they’d hire someone who can barely speak or understand English.
