  Stunning stay in the Umbrian hills

  Liked: Stunning views of the Umbrian countryside, set up a hill with views of Orvieto that luminates as the sun sets. The pool is as stunning as it looks. The service is impeccable and the rooms are spacious and very tastefully decked out. Easily one of the most special stays we have ever had.

  Disliked: The properties rural setting means that you will get more out of your stay if you have a car. The walk into Orvieto is 1.5hours and the local taxis are expensive (35-50€ to the station / town one way)

  Amazing stay & very relaxing

  Liked: Loved how personal they made it feel. We felt safe where we were at. Very quiet but also a fun vibe! The property is beautiful. Taxis were able to take us into Orvieto very easily for an evening. They made anything work for us. David was a top host, he made our stay so great.

  Unique...perfection

  Liked: Perfection — you have to experience it in your lifetime to truly believe it. Federica is absolutely amazing. She cooks everything fresh, from scratch and, most importantly, from the heart — and every single dish is cooked to perfection. It’s home cooking with a Michelin-star mind, if you know what I mean! ❤️ Breakfast, the picnic lunch and dinner are all a must-try. The entire resort is calm, peaceful and incredibly relaxing — almost like a little world of its own. There is something truly healing about the sense of calm, privacy and tranquillity throughout the property. The apartments are beautifully finished, once again with incredible attention to detail. Cleanliness is absolutely spot-on throughout the whole place. And the spa… you simply have to experience it! It was an amazing experience. The cooking class with Federica herself was fantastic — so enjoyable and informative. My daughter absolutely loved it and especially loved Federica’s way of teaching. ❤️ This is truly a unique boutique retreat, unlike anywhere we have stayed before. David is also wonderful — so friendly, helpful and professional, and he does his job exceptionally well. The pool area is beautiful, fresh and peaceful, with stunning views — another perfect spot to relax and unwind. Until our next stay, keep up the amazing work! Thank you, Federica and David and all the staff, for everything. We will definitely be back. ❤️
