  It was a nice base to be while we were in Orvieto

  Liked: The location is excellent, it’s clean and the staff was helpful

  Disliked: A lot of steep steps for carrying luggage, but also should be expected.

  Description misleading

  Liked: The room was in a great location and well appointed, with a comfortable bed. Sabrina booked a couple of taxis for us to and from the train station (20 euro each way) and made a reservation for us at Pozzo Etrusco, which was so good we went back the next night.

  Disliked: Our apartment had a bedroom with kitchen area (with an extremely noisy fridge) and an en-suite shower room - but no living room, as advertised. It was also up two stories of a small circular staircase making baggage movement pretty difficult. The breakfast snacks provided were prepackaged and unappetising. The pool, which dominates their webpage, is not available to guests unless you book a day in advance and pay an additional 80 euro for 2 hours. We saw no staff during our two night stay, all communication was done by WhatsApp.

  A peaceful and unforgettable stay in the heart of Orvieto

  Liked: Everything about Le Stanze di Teodorico was exceptional, from the beautiful historic building to the studio itself and its wonderful atmosphere. After an intense journey through Italy, including the Bernina Express into Switzerland and nine busy days exploring the Gulf of Naples, arriving in Orvieto and staying here for two nights felt like a breath of fresh air. It was exactly the peaceful and relaxing experience we needed before the final part of our trip in Rome. The studio is beautifully and tastefully decorated, with a design that perfectly complements the character of the historic building and the unique charm of Orvieto. It feels incredibly cosy, welcoming and authentic, while offering all the comfort you could wish for. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The grotto was a wonderful surprise and absolutely worth exploring, adding something truly special to the experience. The location is excellent for discovering the historic centre and enjoying the atmosphere of this beautiful hilltop town. Despite being so conveniently located, the accommodation was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Communication was excellent, and everything went smoothly throughout our stay. This was genuinely one of our most memorable accommodation experiences. Everything about it seemed to belong perfectly to the charm and character of Orvieto. Those two nights were a real treat, and I couldn't have wished for a better place to relax and recharge before continuing to Rome. I would wholeheartedly recommend it and would definitely love to return!

  Medieval Orvieto atmosphere yet modern in comfort

  Liked: Le Stanze di Teodorico is a cross between a place of heritage value and modern day home technology comfort. Heritage in keeping with the historic and medieval.ethos of the place, yet modern in its comfort, i.e., with efficient wifi and bluetooth for music, aethetic lighting, etc. AND Sabrina was most responsive to my questions and requests.

  A must place to stay

  Liked: Loved everything about this place. Would highly recommend. I got checkout time wrong by an hour but they were okay with this and they allowed us to store our luggage. They were helpful with recommendations and booking resturant for us
