  Our stay overall was fantastic

  Liked: Very reachable to the center and friendly staff. Breakfast was fine too.

  Disliked: As the bathroom was a bit small door was obstacle to go in and out so if it was a folder one it would be much better and convenient.

  Liked: the location in the center

  Disliked: The room was very small and dirty, and the bathroom was also unclean. The hotel is old and needs significant improvement in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. Unfortunately, one of the staff members was extremely rude and treated us in a discriminatory manner, which made our stay very unpleasant. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.

  Do not book the Triple Romantic Room unless you want a round bed

  Liked: It's very easy to find and has back-door access to the town, so guests don't have to go out to the main road. But remember to bring your blue fob-key to get back in. The breakfast is very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

  Disliked: There's no door handle, so how do we make sure the door is closed from the outside? And this means we can't hang a Do Not Disturb sign. There's no room phone to contact the front desk or other staff, just a phone cable coming out of the wall! We went down to reception around 8:35 pm and the place was closed! There was a sign with a phone number to call for 24 hour service, but we just needed a trash bag, which shouldn't require someone coming out to the property. I booked a "triple romantic room" simply because it was a room with a king bed, not that I specifically wanted a themed room. However, the bed is circular! While some people might find this cozy or romantic, we wanted a standard square bed, so this was a surprise. And because the bed is circular, it has no head boards, which means we can't sit on the bed and use our phones or work on a laptop. And it's wider than a king bed at the edges, which means the left side is against the wall, which means whoever sleeps on the left side has to climb over the bottom of the bed to get out of bed! I wasn't told about this, nor given a choice when I checked in, and the description and room options on the website never said "triple romantic room includes a circular bed, so confirm this is what you want". The room came with an extra single-sized bed, which we didn't request, so we're not sure why they put it in the room. There was mold or rust along the bottom edge of the shower. We told the hotel about the circular bed and they gave us a new room. We also told them about the extra bed and they they didn't charge us for it. Our new room was much, much better. It's a normal, ordinary room, very similar to the hotels we stayed at in Milan. The bed is square, the colors are blue and gray, there's a room phone, and the shower has doors.

  Great hotel very close to town

  Liked: Location is superb, right in the heart of Riva. The pool and sun beds are a nice addition, especially being so close to the centre. Breakfast selection is excellent - the best we’ve had around Lake Garda! Staff are very friendly and helpful.

  Disliked: Bathroom was a bit small and could be more storage space.
