Guest reviews
Fabulous
Liked: It was like a hidden oasis in perfect walking proximity to everything you want to see in afew days in Rome. Also in a lovely neighbour hood with local eateries, supermarket etc on your front door step essentially.
À very unique place, an oasis in central Rome!
Liked: The place was truly unique and had character. The garden and the pool was a bonus. It was simple but functional and the staff were really lovely.
Disliked: It could have scored higher on the cleanliness, maybe it was just a little run down and moldy because of the rain. The breakfast was simple but sufficient.
Past its prime
Liked: Good location in a quiet neighbourhood
Disliked: The infrastructure and furniture are showing signs of age and lack of maintenance. The bathroom walls are dirty, the floors are full of lime scale, as are the toilets. The sound proofing is inexistant
Little oasis in the city
Liked: Location was ideal, close to great restaurants, walking distance from many archeological sites and bus and metro on the doorstep Staff really friendly Pool was welcome in the heat, breakfast had a good choice, rooms were reasonable size and facilities, the air con worked well and the balcony was great for drying towels and sitting out on
Disliked: Lack of coffee facility in the room was disappointing, there was tea bags but this wasn’t replenished and no milk, not a big deal as there was a fridge we could store cold drinks and you could buy coffee from reception. Perhaps the time of year but we got bitten terribly so wise to pack plenty of bug spray and bite relief as this did detract from the enjoyment of our stay in Rome
Liked: Very good location and private.
Disliked: The room was tired and in need of improvements. The photos of the outside area do not match currently, the garden needs more regular upkeep.
Liked: Cocktails were delicious, service was great from all members of staff, bed was super comfy and the room was lovely and big. It’s in an excellent location for exploring Rome
Disliked: Nothing
