Be aware of special events on departure day
Liked: The staff was very helpful and a great attitude
Disliked: The day of are departure there was a marathon event being held and most of the streets were closed after 6:30 am we had planned on taking a cab to the train station and they all refused. We even asked the cab driver the night before are departing he cabs wait 24/7 he said we will be here. Even the tram and bus refused service. A heads up by someone at the hotel would have been nice. We ended up walking 4 miles to Tremini and just made our train.
Excellent location right next to the heart of Trastevere
Liked: Excellent location and well connected to the rest of the city centre.
Disliked: There’s quite some noise coming from the street through the windows, despite being closed, and the sink in the bedroom felt a bit awkward.
Liked: Really beautiful and cleqn. Great location and easy to get around on foot or with buses and trams. Friendly and helpful staff!
Liked: A perfect place to stay in Rome! Close to the heart of Trastevere and a short walk to cross the river and see many of the main sites in Rome. Ray was very kind and welcoming, and we could conveniently store our bags and have an espresso before our room was ready. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and cool! A perfect and easy escape from the August heat.
Comfortable Stay in Trastevere
Liked: We had a wonderful stay in one of the newer rooms at Trastevere Royal Suite. The building is a mix of Airbnb/hotel style rooms and residential apartments. Ray met us on the day-of and offered an early check in. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with strong air conditioning. There was a small shared kitchen area just outside the room with an espresso machine, fridge, sink and hot plate. The location is fantastic, we walked everywhere. 10/10 stay and we would recommend to any travellers exploring Rome.
