Exceptional
Architecturally beautiful, lovely beds, lovely staff, amazing breakfast!
Liked: The building was beautiful, a 13th century Venetian palace, with high ceilings and some original frescos. The ambience and decor was wonderful!
Disliked: Nothing, it was fabulous!
A TRUE PALACE
Liked: This is a Real Palace and the staff makes you feel totally at home. Beautiful, Elegant, Immaculate with a wonderful view. It has a ballroom fashioned as an art gallery exhibiting masquerade costumes, modern art painting and contemporary poetry, very impressive. We could sit on the balcony overlooking the plaza. Our room was tastefully decorated and well appointed. I wish I could remember the names of each member of the staff to thank them directly for the excellent and warm professional service we received. They all made our stay the sweetest one on our trip.

Loved it, the hotel was lovely a 13th century ( I believe,wikipedia?) Palace, staff were lovely
Liked: The room was lovely and quiet, and the bathroom was very clean. I didn't spend much time in the room, as there was too much to explore. The Location was perfect, on a lovely piazza, so you could sit out and have a drink or coffee, relax, read a book, or have food. Close enough: 10-20 min from Rialto or St. Mark's Square (assuming you didn't get confused and totally lost on the way, which was part of the charm). The breakfast was perfect: the usual items and a lovely selection of pastries, which went down well with some of my party.
Disliked: Nothing really, it was hot, and maybe the air conditioning could have worked better, but it wasn't bad, and considering we travelled from Ireland, where it seldom gets above the mid-twenties, it was OK.
