  4 nights stay in Lido

  Liked: Nicely decorated ensuite room with hot showers ready to do. Our bed was tidied everyday while we were out and towels can be changed when need be. The property is really close to the Lido water taxi stop (recommend the 3 mins bus ride vs walking) and also a self laundry area close by too

  Disliked: We had to catch our bus early morning (as there was only one water taxi that left early morning on Sunday 7.30am) to the airport but were told to settle the tourist fees last minute and scan our passports just as we were about to head out. Wished this was organized sooner! We made it to the bus just in time thankfully...

  Amazing location near the casino, the best host

  Liked: As I was there for the film festival, the location was just perfect with 5-6 mins walk from the Casino. The stuff were nice, Samira is just the perfect host, very kind and helpful. While it's not mentioned, nice breakfast was offered with coffee, cheese and snacks.

  Disliked: It's a villa with one big air conditioner in the corridor serving all the rooms, rooms are equipped with fans as well. I didn't struggle with temperature although it was hot in September, but you will need to deal with the fact that room door must be open to benefit the AC, and that other rooms will be opening their doors as well.

  Expensive Festival Trap

  Liked: Very high price for the value of the place. The reason was obviously bevare the ongoing film festival and its location very close to the events.

  A cheap well located old property on the Lido - you get what you pay for

  Liked: It’s a beautiful house, and well located. You can come and go as you like.

  Disliked: The bathroom curtain doesn’t cover the whole bathroom window - which faces entry way to the property. Not ideal. Quite noisy and you can hear everything from adjacent rooms. No air-con in the room - but there was a fan.

  Liked: La posizione è comoda, la dimensione della stanza è buona, il letto è comodo.

  Disliked: Ho dovuto telefonare tre volte perché non era presente nessuno per il check-in. Ho aspettato un un quarto d'ora prima che arrivasse qualcuno. In camera c'era la macchinetta del caffè ma senza capsule e le bustine del tè ma senza bollitore, l'ho fatto notare alla proprietaria per messaggio ma sono stata ignorata. Le informazioni sulla struttura vengono inviate per messaggio solo in un inglese molto povero e con tanti errori. È un peccato perché io sono di Venezia e potrei consigliare la struttura ad amici e parenti, ma per la qualità del servizio non penso lo farò.

  It was a beautiful room with helpful people and some of the best sleep I have had in a hotel

  Liked: The lady was super nice, even if she didn’t speak English fluently she always tried to help. Sometimes she wasn’t there so I called her, but she’d come as soon as the call ended. The beds were really comfortable and every day they cleaned the rooms. For people who love an aesthetic room this is the place. It was really beautiful and there was a ventilator in the room for those who are going in the summer. I loved how the hotel is close to everything. Around 10 minutes until the beach by foot and to the vaporetto a 18 minutes walk almost always straight forwards. It’s a really calm island perfect for night strolls or people who want to go for a run. Really safe, I always walked with my phone in my back pocket in Lido. There’s also a little park 2 minutes away by foot. It’s an amazing experience you really see people living life outside. If you want to see people outside at night you have to go to the center there are some bars and an ice cream shop that is open until 11pm.

  Disliked: Even with the ventilation the room was still a bit warm but we kept the door open as the rest of the property was cooler. We didn’t have a room right in front of us it was kind of beside us and even then people didn’t stay much in the rooms so it was okay to leave the door open. I wish that they would have controlled the toilet paper, but when we asked we always got 2 rolls. I also wish they would have changed the towels but we could’ve also have asked her to do it so that’s kinda on us.
