Fabulous
Disapointing and disturbing
Liked: The place is a short distance from Venice Stl Lucia station and the Piazzale Roma - and also in walking distance from the universities in Venice, so the location was good for work. The shower was good, though it was located downstairs while the bedroom and the closet was upstairs.
Disliked: While I was away for lunch, I get notification from Booking, and half an hour when I return I find my door whide open, and a man with a ladder inside my place. I had left all my things downstairs, laundry and computers - so I was very upset for this intrusion. The man was nice enough, but when I call the owners I simply get this tone that they sent me a message half an hour ago, and that this was nessicery to change the heating. Even if changing the electricity was nessisery, how this was done was HIGLY unprofessional. I should have been notified in the morning, so I could arrange my things, AT LEAST! Considering, also that the place is located next to a prison! Another thing that was highly problematic was that it was very difficult to open any windows. The only one possible to do so had curtains over them that were not possible to draw back/up. So the place is quite absent of sunlight - though the lighting inside is good. Lastly, the bed is two beds pushed together - and it kept sliding apart during the night, making the sleep less comfortable. And while the utilaries in the kitchen was enough for me alone - it would be higly lacking for a couple - let alone more people.
Good property in a quiet street
Liked: Property was clean,towels,hair dryer and soap included.Eazy access from bus station.
Disliked: There is no dishwashing cloth or dishwashing soap in the kitchen which was a bit annoying if I wanted to wash just one plate instead of placing it in the dishwasher.No kitchen towel.
Located across from a prison, so you can wave to prisoners when you walk outside
Liked: A nice place in a quiet location. Good design. Lots of space. Overall clean. It's so nice to walk into your own place from the street. Pleasant overall. Away from tourist crowds with good local amenities, and a pleasant walk to more central/famous attractions.
Disliked: The property is poorly maintained. When we arrived, the bathroom faucet sprayed water onto the floor, the bathroom door was jammed, the toilet lid was missing, and the sofa bed would not close properly. Individually, these are very minor issues, but together they show a lack of care. The host’s response: I contacted them through Booking and WhatsApp and despite immediate read receipts, I received no reply at all until the following day which was “Thank you for letting us know,” with no offer to address the problems. The kitchen reflected the same lack of attention: you get salt and pepper shakers but they are empty, you get coffee maker but no coffee pods or sugar, etc. Overall, they place is still good, but it could be really great if it was managed by someone who does not neglect basic maitenance, is more responsive, and provides missing basics.
Please research about the other stays nearby and get a better stay for yourself
Liked: No i didn’t like the property at all, nothing like the picture. AC never works, Not at all well lit, No large mirror. The only good point is the location.
Disliked: Nothing except the location. We called the property on the first day and after 2 hours of literal arguments they managed to fix the AC but after a few hours it turned off again and never we could re start the AC.

Liked: This property was stunning and very comfortable! It was close to everything, particularly the train station. Appreciated the washing machine during travel! The aircon was very comfortable.
Disliked: The pillows were a little soft, but the bed was otherwise comfortable! Kitchen plates were not in the kitchen, but under the tv which was confusing but not a big deal.
