Convenient for a trip to Venice, but don't expect great customer service

Liked: The bed was super comfy - as with all beds in Italy, it seems! The location was great for getting into Venice, and while sharing a bathroom was not especially desirable, I must say that it was very clean.

Disliked: When dealing with the agent before the trip, it was clear he didn't want to answer any questions. "Refer to the booking" was his answer of choice - even though the information requested was not on the booking. In addition, after quite specifically nailing me down to an "agreed" time of arrival, he was then 20 minutes late - during which time the "agreed" car parking spot was not available, putting me at risk of a fine.

  Convenient budget location

Liked: - A practical base if you want a more affordable stay with easy access to Venice. Its location in Mestre was convenient, with easy access to public transportation (train, bus though the bus is very crowded) to Venice’s historic center - The room was overall clean, comfortable, and a good value. - The surrounding area had some cafés, restaurants, and shops within a 10min walk. - includes strong wifi, shared shower/bathroom, fridge, kettle, hangers

Disliked: - Mosquitoes very prevalent - Some black mold in bathroom - There was a lot of fragrance diffusers which was overpowering - It’s a bit hard to find and you should notify or message via Booking at least 20min ahead of time or else you will be waiting a while

Overall, I recommend the place to stay for a couple nights

Liked: No breakfast included, however, there were may options walking distance. Also, there was a convenience store just around the corner which was very helpful. Since the main purpose was to visit Venice, the connection by bus was great, as the stop was literally a couple of minutes from the place and the buses were coming by every 5 minutes.

Disliked: There was a lot of noise around from other guests, like closing doors and such. Also the people living above were very noisy. Had to wear earplugs at night.
