A hidden surprise in Viterbo offering a classic experience and first class hospitality
Liked: This property is spotless and feels like home instantly. The hosts couldn't be nicer, sincerely. Their nearby Pasticceria is an absolute delight, and breakfast there was delicious. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the shower is luxurious. I also really enjoyed the neighbourhood, which felt safe to walk through at night. Thank you, Monica, for going out of your way to help us with anything we needed. We are so glad we booked Il Giardino nel Borgo!
Location, history, comfort, it was all there
Liked: The location is amazing and the cottage is beautifully set out. Really comfortable bed and fabulous shower. Breakfast at the pasticceria was good.
Disliked: The only thing that bothered us was that initially it was very cold. Once the heating had been on for a few hours it warmed up but perhaps the heating could be turned on before guests arrive. It wasn't a negative though. We would definitely return.
Liked: The owner of the property also has a bakery about 10 minutes away and offers coffee and pastries included each morning, which was wonderful!
