  Liked: Well located, easy to find. The room was quite spacious.

  Disliked: Breakfasts were very simple and repetitive. The access to the riad is in the very sketchy tunnel. The upper “windows” in the rooms make the rooms quite noisy and not private.

  Great riad right in the heart of Essaouira

  Liked: We only stayed for one night but wish we’d stayed for longer. Lovely riad. Breakfast was delicious, staff were really friendly and helpful. Great location. We saw some reviews complaining about the music from the bar next door - so we went to the bar next door! Brilliant live music that went on till only 11pm. Then peace and quiet so we slept very well.

  Well maintained with friendly staff, but nightclub can make it difficult to sleep

  Liked: The property is a short walk from the main sights in Essaouira. The breakfast was good, the room was clean (and was cleaned each day), and the staff watched over our luggage for a few hours after checkout while waiting for our next leg.

  Disliked: There is some kind of nightclub directly next to the property. The loud music and bass makes it difficult to fall asleep/sleep well.

  The friendly and helpful staff made our stay pleasant, although the room could use some improvements

  Liked: The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Whenever we needed something, they were happy to assist us. The breakfast was also good and sufficient for our stay.

  Disliked: The room was not exactly as shown in the Booking.com description and was quite dark when we arrived. There were not enough power outlets for charging, and one of them was not working. The room and building also felt quite old, and there was sometimes a strong smell around the area.
