Exceptional
A funfilled few days in an exceptional property. Sincerest thanks to Hanae,Ziad, the cook and all the staff for their
Liked: A lovely property with incredibly good staff. Hanae and Ziad couldn’t do enough for us and prearranged our transfers, dinner on night of arrival and walking tour. A great breakfast was included. Over all, a wonderful experience.
Liked: Quiet area on the edge of the medina, easy access for taxis, pick up and drop off. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Comfortable and peaceful room.
Disliked: All was perfect
Liked: Solo female traveller, wanted somewhere with easy access to the gate and quiet. This was perfect. Staff were expecially helpful as it was my first time in Fez. Nothing too much trouble.
Disliked: Forgot to order food. All cooked fresh. Had no dinner but there is a restaurant over the road. Order by 12 midday if you want to eat there.
Liked: Very nice rooftop area and very good breakfast, staff very friendly
Coming from a hospitality industry, I say beyond perfect!
Liked: From the moment we arrived, everything felt simply perfect. We were welcomed so warmly by Hana, whose kindness set the tone for our entire stay. Mohammad, the owner, made the experience truly special by sharing stories about his incredible collection of antiques—each piece in the Dar has a soul and a history, and you can feel it in every corner. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared with care and full of authentic flavor. The entire place was pristine and beautifully maintained. Our room was stunning, comfortable, and felt like a peaceful sanctuary. One of the most magical details was the scent of orange blossoms drifting through our window—it created an atmosphere that’s hard to put into words. The terrace was equally beautiful, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the surroundings. What stood out the most was how at home we felt. Not just comfortable, but truly cared for. Tea was available 24/7, always offered with genuine warmth. Even our dog was welcomed with smiles and open hearts, which meant so much to us. The hospitality here is something rare—this is not just learned politeness, but sincere, heartfelt kindness. You can feel that every smile comes from a real place. There are honestly no words that fully capture how good we felt staying here. It was more than just accommodation—it was an experience we will carry with us.
A very friendly, beautiful and comfortable riad. One of the best we have stayed in during our travel
Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, we felt really welcome. Nice and spacious room and bathroom. Beautiful roof terrace. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Disliked: Nothing really. The riad was a walk away from the main tourist area; on the other hand, it was very close to one of the gates, so taxis/pick-ups were really easy.
