Fabulous
Liked: Dar Lys is a great choice if traveling to Fes. It is unusual to find a riad in a Morocan city that is very well situated to the medina whilst still having parking and the ability to drive directly up to the property. The riad itself was stunning and very relaxing. Our room was the perfect size, with a huge window that opened to look down to the courtyard of the riad and out towards the hills surrounding Fes. I looked forward to the beautiful breakfast buffet each morning.
Disliked: The pool conditions could be improved; it was obvious the water was highly chlorinated and foggy. This is genuinly the only critique I have of the property.

Comfortable stay with a pool
Liked: Liked the clean atmosphere and amenities in the room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I appreciated the fruit basket and pastries left in the room for us.
Disliked: The air conditioning could have been a bit stronger. Would have preferred a bed that was less firm
Avoid if you intend to sleep
Liked: Location in Fes medina, room was clean and confortable. Receptionist ladies very kind and helpful.
Disliked: The hotel is so noisy due to very poor soundproofing and room door and walls are so thin that you hear everything in the patio and the street. Had to leave a day earlier as impossible to sleep.
A wonderful, peaceful stay with excellent service, we would happily come back again
Liked: We really enjoyed our stay. The property is peaceful and quiet, which made it very relaxing. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained, and everything was spotless throughout the riad. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They did everything they could to make sure all our needs were met, which made us feel very comfortable.
Disliked: The only small downside was that there was no iron or ironing board available in the room. However, this was not a major issue and did not affect our overall experience.
