Exceptional
Gorgeous Riad with amazing decor and lovely staff. We would absolutely recommend to others
Liked: The room and the Riad was stunning. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Disliked: Dinner was delicious but prices were a bit high.
Liked: This is one of my favorite places I've ever stayed, and definitely the best value for money. The place is beautiful, and my room was enormous. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is so nice if you need a break from traditional Moroccan food. The location is great. It's in the Medina but in a quieter area.
Disliked: There's nothing to not like about this place.
A Beautifully Restored Gem Near Bab Guissa
Liked: Our stay at Dar Roumana was truly exceptional. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit. The location is perfect—peaceful, yet just a short walk from the Bab Guissa gate, making it very convenient. The house itself is breathtaking. It has been beautifully restored, and you can really see the immense time and effort that went into every detail. We also highly recommend dining at their in-house restaurant, which offers a fantastic selection of both local delicacies and international cuisine. The breakfasts were delicious as well! Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Even though the nights were chilly, our bed was wonderfully warm and comfortable. One of the highlights was the rooftop; it offers a stunning view, and we loved sipping great cocktails and local Moroccan wine up there. It is a true gem in the heart of the Medina!
Liked: A very cozy, quiet and beautiful dar with reconstructed interiors. I also doubles as a very fine dining restaurant so treat yourself as a guest.
Very nice stay, definitely recommended
Liked: The riad is amazing, stuff was super kind and helpful! They also organised a tour with guide for us! The room and breakfast are also very nice, position is optimal to visit the medina!
Disliked: We heard noise during night because of dogs barking and people working outside. If you are sensitive bring some earplugs!
Wonderful
Liked: Beautiful room, lovely restaurant downstairs (although very expensive and not authentic Moroccan cuisine if that’s what you’re looking for). They do serve alcohol though which is rare in Fes!
Disliked: Location was a bit tricky to find
