Exceptional
Liked: This hotel is absolutely beautiful! I feel very lucky to have stayed here. I booked a room with a terrace, and the entire rooftop terrace was all mine! The receptionist, Anas, is such a wonderful person! He is incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. He gave me great recommendations on places to visit and even kindly helped me arrange a taxi to the train station. I really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you so much, Anas, for your amazing hospitality! I highly recommend this hotel! 这家酒店非常推荐，очень хороший отель!
Very disappointed
Liked: The staff were great. The two gentlemen we encountered were very helpful and nice.
Disliked: It was very noisy at night. We stayed for 2 nights and got no sleep on night one. We were kept awake by people shouting in the alley outside, the noise of motorbikes and so on. Now, on night 2 we were moved to a much quieter room where we were able to get a good nights sleep. The cleanliness was poor. The blankets were not clean, the bathrooms were grungy and had not been properly cleaned and the whole place smelt of cats. We arranged a driver/pick up/assistance with luggage from the bus station to the Dar. The driver did not arrive so we had to take a taxi to the outside of the medina and find our way to the Dar on our own. It’s not an easy thing to do, especially with heavy suitcases.
We’re treated like a king and queen!
Liked: We were treated so well from the moment the door was opened by Anass! We were given a map and a route of the major sites to see in the medina. The location was excellent and the breakfast was devoured by my partner (all 3 days). Anass educated us about Morocco and we enjoyed spending time with him in the evenings
We had a pleasant stay
Liked: The breakfast was various enough and tasty. Staff was very nice they carried our luggage to the second floor, helped us with getting a Petit taxi to our restaurant, arranged our train station transfer and provided us with a map of the medina and top attractions.
Disliked: Unfortunately our bathroom sink was leaking a bit and additionally, we found some bugs under the mattress in one of the beds (not bedbugs, some other kinds).
Liked: Exceptional service from the front staff Anas and Hasan. Nothing was too much trouble and they provided excellent advice about Fez!
