  Riad with friendly staff and cat

  Liked: Nice riad with beautiful chill area near pool. Friendly staff who offered us tea all the time. Room was clean and comfortable. They do amazing dinner, it is definitelly worth money. Massage was also really nice. The location is within walking distance of the medina. Bonus is cute cat who lives in riad.

  Very beautiful inner courtyard, great location

  Liked: Really beautiful inner courtyard and the room was really nicely decorated, with large tiled shower. Had a good massage and hamman which was good value. Location is great for Fez, on outskirts of old town but on edge so can take vehicular transport to very close by, don't have to walk much. Friendly staff.

  Disliked: Breakfast was not very interesting, would be nice to have fruit and more choice.

  If you're looking for a quiet spot, this gorgeous riad is perfect

  Liked: This is a beautiful and very comfortable riad in the lower part of the Fes medina. Whether you think its location is excellent or otherwise will depend on what you are looking for, but for me, it was perfect. The staff were really lovely and very helpful, as well as accommodating. They changed my room without question when I said I didn't think I could manage the steep stairs. (Thank you). My room and bed were functional, comfortable, and also aestheticly pleasing. Good strength hot water and plenty of it in a spacious bathroom. The common areas are lovely places to while away time on a rest day or in the afternoons after a busy day sightseeing. The small pool was a delight (although cold). Dinners were very yummy.

  Disliked: Not really a criticism, more a personal preference, the breakfast was very bread oriented (following local custom?) but I would have preferred some fruit and yoghurt. I didn't ask, and that is my problem.

  Friendly staff, great location

  Liked: The Riad Attarine was comfortable and the staff friendly and very helpful. It was well located on the edge of the Medina but close to the hustle and bustle of the market and to key attractions. Dinner of an evening was such a joyful addition to be enjoyed.

  Exceptional

  Liked: Fantastic road, furnished in traditional style. Large bedroom, plus roof terrace and small sitting room with wood burning stove. Delicious three course dinner available to order - more interesting than most standard menus. And the best bit was the hammam and massage - great experience, don't miss it! Thanks to the staff (and the cat!) for such a warm welcome and making us feel so at home. We hope to come back.

  Peaceful, authentic and rustic stay. Gives a really good feel for Moroccan hospitality

  Liked: Lovely hospital staff running it. Had a couples Hammam and it was really good - very good value for money. Lovely food and friendly cat.

  Disliked: The bed was really, really hard.
