Exceptional
Thank you for a perfect stay and for making our time in Fes perfect
Liked: This is a wonderfully beautiful property. The owner Otman and his staff couldn’t have been more warm and welcoming. They are the loveliest of people. We stayed for 5 nights and had 3 amazing dinners. The chef was incredibly accommodating and cooked something different for every meal. The bedrooms were large, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would recommend this riad a 20 out of 10 and hope to get a chance to stay there again
Disliked: There wasn’t anything not to love
Graceful, calm, generous
Liked: Lovely historic, spacious and gracious hotel, both room and public spaces. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the cool bright internal courtyard was delicious and abundant. I had dinner one nite and it was also delicious. Not often one's expectations are exceeded, but they were here. Highly recommend.
Disliked: Nothing.
It was like goint back in time. The dinint chairs, the tiles, hamam all so authentic
Liked: The old world charm! I loved that the original tiles and furniture was all there, had not been modernized and destroyed like so many other Riads. It was authentic and exactly what I wanted.
Disliked: The wifi in our room on the second floor, just did not work - ever. It was only available in the courtyard downstairs. And there were alot of mosquitos in the courtyard without any coils or netting. They bite and this can be easily prevented.
Amazing staff, spacious rooms, and beautiful view!
Liked: The staff was amazing!! Everyone from the owner, who took over for his parents, to the porter to the kitchen staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. They helped with every question we had, and even helped us get our train tickets to Marrakech.
It was a great stay, I am looking forward to come back
Liked: The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and everything was perfectly clean. I had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Morocco.
Disliked: Although everything is absolutely lovely, if you look closely you’ll notice that in a few places some small tiles on the floor are missing or are no longer in the best condition. I’d also prefer a shower to a bath with shower facilities. Perhaps this could be addressed during the next renovation. That would make the place absolutely perfect for me.
Very convenienet and enjoyable stay
Liked: The booking staff were very kind, friendly and supportive. Zahra is a very nice Moroccan lady who not only speaks multi languages but also she is very knowledgable and open-minded. We had great time at Riad Dar Al Andalous and we had a comfortable stay in Fes. Highly recommended.
Disliked: Nothing
