Disliked: We searched B.C as a couple, and booked a double room for 3 nights at Dar Guennoun On arrival they said I’d only booked the room for 1 person and made me pay a further 70 euros cash. 70 Euros was more than I had paid Booking.Com. £59.95 Something not right here. On checking it seems that a double room is the same price whether it’s one person or two, so why the extra 70 Euros cash?

Property in a good position and assistance by Abdul made the stay enjoyable in a very busy and populated Fes

Liked: The property was near to the old city and we had a car so had to park a little bit away and was greeted by Abdul as we got closer helping us with our luggage. Property was unique but basic and clean however Abdul went out of his way to provide assistance and guidance to make our stay memorable. Breakfast was great and delivered with a smile

    Disliked: Rooms a little basic

Value for money with excellent service

Liked: This is a riad run by a family, so you will experience all the warmth and kindness of all the staff who works there. I spent 3 nights. The room was nice, the bed comfortable. Excellent breakfast and access to an amazing roof terrace where you can sip tea while watching the medina.

    Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: Bathroom could use a little improvement, breakfast could be a little better (fruits or juice)

Liked: A very clean riad with extremely kind staff. Abdul went out of his way to help us, giving advice on where to have a hammam, where to get taxis, and sometimes even accompanying us to help find an available taxi. In addition, he and the lady who worked in housekeeping and the kitchen were very kind when my wife became ill with food poisoning in Fes. They arranged suitable food for her. The riad is charming and the location is good.
