Exceptional
Comfortable, immaculate, welcoming!
Liked: I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier Riad to stay with in Fes. The family owned and operated 300 year old house was so comfortable I felt at home. The family is so kind and caring. The breakfast is delicious and everything is home made. My room was beautiful and the tile floors and bathroom are special. The bed and pillows and relaxing and I slept very well. The Riad is walking distance from the souk and many restaurants also. I had two delicious home made dinners!
Disliked: There is absolutely nothing to not like!
Nice Riad in a good location
Liked: We booked this riad because of its beautiful traditional architecture/décor and the excellent location. It is close to a parking area, which means you don't have to carry your suitcase through the labyrinth of the medina to get to the riad and can always find the way back to your room. Our family room was clean, lovely, and comfortably furnished. We felt very at ease and were able to relax well after an action-packed day in the medina. The terrace is wonderful in the evening; you get a great view of the city from up there and can relax in the hanging chair. The Moroccan breakfast was always freshly prepared. The hosts are very nice, friendly, and approachable.
Disliked: The cost of laundry services is quite high (10 Euros /load). It would be great if a communal washing machine were available so that guests could wash and hang up their own laundry (by themselves) for a reasonable additional fee.
Liked: Very pleasant host, great location, large terrace with great views.
Wonderful stay
Liked: Beautiful clean riad, highly recommended. Breakfast was delicious and the host was gracious.
Liked: What a lovely little hotel! It ticks every box, the breakfast was gorgeous, the staff were incredibly polite and attentive, and the whole property was immaculately clean. One thing to note for people travelling to Fès: the Medina is a labyrinth, and you don't want to be lugging your bags around for hours trying to find some backstreet Riad. This hotel was highly convenient, as it's on the main road into the main square, from where you can navigate far more easily than if you were in the middle of the Medina. I would strongly recommend this over other hotels in the middle of the Medina, if not for it being a good solid stay, but also the practicalities. Just ask your taxi driver to go to Bab el Jdid, and you can't go wrong from there. Would highly recommend this to any first-time travellers to Fès or Morocco!

Liked: Room was spacious and terrace was great
Disliked: No Moroccan hospitality, I had to move my luggage myself to the riad upon arrival and helped the owner with it up stairs to my room. When I left I was not helped with luggage or greeted I was told to just leave the key at reception desk.
