A good place to stay when visiting Fes

Liked: A great Riad in the best location, The host and staff were very helpful and friendly, The central courtyard garden with swimming pool was amazing, full of fruit trees and flowers. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated with good aircon and a very comfortable bed. This was our third trip to Fez and this was the best Riad we have stayed in.
Disliked: We liked everything!
Liked: The garden is an oasis after a hot day wandering the Fez Medina - and just across it, literally two minutes walking across a convenient parking lot. A dip in the pool was just what we needed mid afternoon. Room was very comfortable, and well decorated, bathroom very big (needing a bit of updating), lots of space to hang clothes. The riad is gorgeous, the living rooms, terrace, huge doors, all very tastefully decorated. Jean Claude was there to help with restaurant suggestions, guides and where to go and how to find places, plus easy going conversation over very good breakfast (croissants included together with Moroccan pancakes). Overall excellent stay, we were sorry we didn’t plan to stay longer, as Fez as a lot to do and staying in such a nice place makes it all better!
Nice Riad, nice host and beautiful garden
Liked: Nice riad with a beautifull garden. Perfect to relax after a day in the Medina. The host Jean Pierre (and his dog Pouchie) is very welcoming, and he gave us some valauble tips for navigating the medina. When I return to Fez I would book here again.
Disliked: None
Liked: Jean Claude was easy to get hold of, he answered questions quickly and gave us some good recommendations. The Riad is in the perfect location, very safe area. The pool was deep and a good size. The property was clean. Breakfast was slightly different each day which was nice and always fruit was offered.
Disliked: The curtains in our room were so thin light came in to our room very early in the morning. We found the mattress to hard but I appreciate this is personal preference. Bathroom needs some TLC, as the ceiling is showing signs if damp. Outside could do with some sprucing up as the sun lounges and hanging lights are looking a bit old. However, overall good experience and we really enjoyed our stay. Just a couple of small bits that could be improved.
