Exceptional
Beautiful Riad in good location
Liked: We were on the top floor and had a lovely outlook. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was good and had a great shower. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of variety. We also ate in 1 night, which was also very good. The Riad is only 5 minutes walk from the blue gate and fairly easy to find.
Disliked: Nothing
A very beautiful stay in the perfect place if you want to explore the Medina of Fes
Liked: The breakfast was locally sourced and great in taste and flavor. The location was so beautiful, it was fresh and well maintained. The staff was very cordial, and the room was clean. It was also in the hearth of the Medina, in a perfect location to explore the city and its attractions. The riad's direction also offered to book for us a guided walking tour of the city, and it was an excellent tour, not a classical touristic trap!
Disliked: The stairs are very small, this can be an issue for people with reduced mobility or similar problematics.
Would be better if the air conditional works better
Liked: Good breakfast and helpful staff. Also easy to access from the blue gate.
Disliked: Air conditioner is not cool enough.
Liked: The breakfast was good. You can request dinner, we enjoyed ours. The Riad is somewhat tough to find. Bab Boujloud is the closest gate to enter from. The wifi is good, but struggles a bit inside the room.
Disliked: Not a fan of the shower in the bathroom. There is a standalone washroom outside the room that we were able to use instead, which was nice.
An authentic traditional Riad in the Medina
Liked: A very old Riad in a good location.
Disliked: No air conditioning in the family room. It would have been nice to have a small fridge.
Liked: Their breakfast was the best we had at riads in Morocco! The riad was well situated on a quiet street but easy to find and close to Blue Gate. Also, we requested help setting up a last minute excursion to Merzouga and on to Marrakech and they organized it all for us (and did a great job). Great stay!
Disliked: The rooftop patio could use a little love.
