Exceptional
Liked: The riad feels like a botanical garden. The building has centuries of history, yet the room is spacious enough for the whole family and spotlessly clean — you can really feel the breath of the old city of Fez when you stay here. It's not new or luxurious, but if you want to experience a genuine historic building in one of Morocco's famous old cities, this is the place. The staff are very friendly, the courtyard is perfect for photos (there are even parrots!), and the views are lovely. It's also very quiet at night.Great location, just a short walk from the main attractions. The staff will even share their own map so you don't get lost in the old medina.
Disliked: If the toilet could be bigger, and two for two beds, that would be perfect.

Liked: We loved our stay at this peaceful Riad. The best Riad of our stay. The plants and birds offer such a peaceful and calm place to enjoy.
Disliked: If you have accessibility issues only the rooms on the main floor will work for you. A few stairs to climb to the upper floors and beautiful balcony.
Liked: Serene setting, beautiful garden courtyard. Amazing rooftop views. Lovely breakfast. Great location. Gorgeous rooms.
Disliked: Everything was perfect
Liked: Great location, easy to find, just a few minutes walking into the Medina. Very friendly and helpful staff
Disliked: Bathroom was a little smelly... Rooftop was neglected and not set up for guests. Only a few birds at the property
Liked: The riad is located in a small side street at the end of the Medina and there’s a parking area just a 2-minute walk away, so you can easily get dropped off by taxi without having to walk far with your luggage. The riad itself is beautiful, and you can tell how much love and care goes into all the plants in the courtyard and on the terraces. The staff were very friendly and always happy to answer any questions. The food was delicious, and I would definitely recommend booking dinner here. It’s high-quality food (a little pricey, but absolutely worth it!).
Disliked: Two small downsides: * The rooms are very well equipped, but I’d recommend asking for one on an upper floor. In some rooms, such as the Nightingale room, other guests have their meals right outside your door, which can be quite noisy. There’s also little privacy, so you have to keep the curtains closed. If you’re out exploring all day, this probably won’t be an issue, but we also enjoy some peace and quiet and like to sleep in now and then. * This is a very personal point, but for a place called the “Riad of Birds”, I was a little sad to see birds kept in cages. I guess I’d rather see birds flying freely than in cages. After all, don’t we all want to be free birds, travelling the world?
Liked: The riad was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. Breakfast was to notch! The staff were very friendly and helpful. 10/10!!
