  A welcoming place with wonderful women working there and a rooftop to chill

  Liked: The location was great, and the room was cleaned during our stay. What made the experience truly special, though, was the kindness of the women working there. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and as two women travelling together, we felt especially comfortable and well looked after. When it was raining heavily and we didn't have an umbrella, they kindly lent us one. These thoughtful gestures made us feel very welcome!

  Disliked: There wasn't much we disliked about our stay. The accommodation is simple, but it offered good value for money, and the kindness of the staff more than made up for any minor imperfections.

  Disliked: It was a complete disaster; I do not recommend it at all. I stayed there for three days, and the bed linen was changed only once. It was extremely hot, and there was no air conditioning. There was also a lot of noise and shouting all night long—lasting until 6:00 AM—throughout the entire three-day stay. As for room service, it was non-existent. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

  Liked: Little surprised to see low reviews of this place. The rooms with shared bathrooms are great, clean and large,with sinks in the rooms and bathrooms outside. Good value.

  Disliked: I moved to room with bathroom next day as shared bathroom rooms were full. These rooms are not as good as these have windows open directly onto the terrace, meaning privacy and security are an issue...and they still don't have toilets. The cheaper rooms are better.

  Great budget accomodation with history

  Liked: Excellent budget accomodation witb history, a short walk to supermarket, cafes, bookstores, the beach and the Medina. Rooftop terrace is cool and inviting. Clean and functional. Would have stayed 23 days if i could.

  Disliked: Some staff had no English - but maybe I shoud learn French or Arabic.
