Liked: A lovely accommodation with a delicious breakfast served on the rooftop terrace. Our room had a window facing the hallway rather than the outside, which is worth keeping in mind.

Very friendly staff but very loud hotel because of the nearby mosque

Liked: All the staff I interacted with were very friendly. The staff set me up with a horse riding excursion that didn’t go well but they refunded my money.

Disliked: The staff unknowingly set up a horse riding excursion with a very horrible and dangerous vendor. The hotel is very loud. I didn’t realize I was right next to a mosque and they chanted until 2 am. I booked a taxi from the train station and thought I would be dropped off close to the hotel but this area does not allow taxi’s because it is a pedestrian area only. It was hard for me to find this location walking in the dark and there are no signs showing the hotel name on the door.

Liked: Excellent staff, great service, great breakfast, wonderful rooftop terrace, and beautiful facility. It's not the Four Seasons, some of the room accommodations are older and used, but the price is very fair and I would stay there again.

Disliked: This riad is well into the souks, which is fine, but it is not marked well on Google Maps. Management must be aware because they even gave me a YouTube video of walking into the hotel. That's fine if you're coming from the exact location the video starts...and I didn't get that until after I checked in. The door is not marked with the Riad name either, so checking in at night can make one quite nervous. Once inside you can relax and the staff is really great.

Great stay, easy access to all of the key places to visit

Liked: Excellent staff. Chaima is new but went out of her way every day to not only find, but bring me to the best restaurants in town, and tell me more about life in Tangier than my tour guide. Located well in center of old town, in the middle of most interesting area but on a quiet alley.

    Disliked: The tours they arrange

Give this one a miss unless you're sure they give you the best room!

Liked: We loved the breakfast, we were given some breakfast the morning we arrived which was a welcome surprise. All our food requests were met and it was delicious!

Disliked: We had booked 2 rooms, one was bright and fresh but the other one (number 3) was windowless, humid and too small to be a double. The corner of the bed is so close to the opposite wall you can't walk past. The bathroom is so tiny the door hits the sink. Nowhere to hang your clothes as the hat stand was broken, all the hooks on the wall were broken bar one and there was no bar in the cupboard structure. Also, the sheets were stained and we had to ask for them to be changed, which was done right away.

    Customer service needs improvement

Liked: -Breakfast lady prepared our breakfast fast because we had and early departure. -Rooftop -Nice smell in the lobby

Disliked: -Bed very small - Open shower with not even a bath mat = constant flooding -Toilet water keeps running -Super small sink = splashes all around -Bad communication from the reception staff. We booked 2 taxis with them and had issues with both: communication on the taxi price, scheduling and confirmation was inconsistent and kept changing. At departure we were kept on hold by the receptionist while our driver was waiting for us for we do not know what reason.
