Liked: This hostel honestly exceeded all my expectations! Everything was excellent, from the facilities to the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. They really make you feel at home! The beds are super comfortable, with curtains for privacy, and everything is cleaned daily. The bathrooms are spotless, and the level of hygiene throughout the hostel is truly impressive. The terrace offers a breathtaking view, and the location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the Medina! It’s the perfect spot to explore the city. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

The PERFECT Place To Stay In Tanger
Liked: Such a lovely place. Beautifully decorated with a fantastic rooftop double terrace with free tea in the evenings. Lots of nooks to hang out and chill. But the best part is the staff. Everyone was warm and kind. Top marks.

Liked: One of my all-time favorite hostels! ❤️ Socco Hostel was truly exceptional, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt comfortable, welcomed, and at home. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in during my travels. Let me start with the cleanliness and hygiene, because they genuinely deserve special recognition. The hostel is exceptionally clean, and you can tell that a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining it. The hygiene standards are impressive, and everything feels fresh, tidy, and well-maintained. They change the bed sheets and pillowcases every single day, which is something I truly appreciated. Cleanliness is not just about how a place looks; it’s about feeling comfortable enough to relax, sleep peacefully, and feel confident about the space you’re staying in. Socco Hostel absolutely delivers on that. As someone who really values cleanliness, I was so impressed by how consistent they were with it throughout my stay. The location is amazing, too, making it a great base for exploring Tangier. But what really makes this place stand out is the combination of cleanliness, comfort, safety, and, above all, the people who work there. Soufiane deserves a special mention. He is genuinely one of the kindest, most respectful, supportive, and helpful people you could meet. He goes out of his way to help, and you can feel that he genuinely cares about the guests and their comfort. What impressed me most was not just his kindness, but his respect for personal boundaries and privacy. There was a moment when he needed to check something in the room. He knocked on the door and asked for permission before entering instead of simply walking in. This might seem like a small thing to some people, but it meant so much to me. As a Muslim woman, privacy, modesty, and having my personal space respected are extremely important to me.
