  Disgusting, Not at all as Described

  Liked: The Balcony

  Disliked: There was no Jacuzzi or Hot tub which i specifically asked for and it states it does. The lift does not go to the apartment, The apartment is nothing like the photos or description. There was a lot of damages, washing machine was rusty, shower non existent, handle broken no door to the toilet, an electrical hairdryer next to the open shower, toilet paper in the shower area. Batteries in the remote control corroded. Internet definately not fast. Just about sleeps 2 people. I asked the owner if the apartment was the same one as described that I had booked with the jacuzzi and the reply was yes. I had understood the apartment I was booking was with a private bathroom and hot tub as on the room details I booked. This was not the case it was a very dirty small shower space with a shower I had to hold over my head. The balcony stated sea view and showed an open balcony, I had an enclosed balcony where in the very distance was the sea and I saw the tops of buildings. Bare wires hanging out in places. Rules state no homosexuality or prostitution. I was on a business trip and was unable to invite my colleague for coffee Very disappointed 😞

  Disliked: At 70 years, I found 5 flights of stairs with suitcases to be a challenge. The bedding was old and had holes. I would recommend the owner buying new bedding.

  Close to busy Faro plaza. Room not what's pictured in listing! Loud danceclub next door, no elevator

  Liked: This apartment is on one of the small side streets by Faro Plaza where the busy nightlife is, so it's within easy access to food, drinks, entertainment (musicians performing on the plaza), shops, etc. You open the balcony and you look left to watch sunset over the Tangier harbor.

  Disliked: The rooms are very different from the photos in the listing. I've attached here a photo of the "2 rooms" advertised on booking.com, compared to the "Reality" -- one very cold room in an apt with NOTHING similar to what's advertised. We were so surprised by this that we even thought that we were given the wrong room! There's no elevator so you have to lug your luggages up 5 flights of stairs to reach the room. Right next door is a dance club/disco(?) whose music is so loud you'll hear it well into the midnight (The property EVEN GAVE you EARPLUGS). The furnitures, etc. have hand-me-down qualities. The electric kettle provided did not work and still have some water from the previous guest.

  In the heart of Tangier

  Liked: This apartment was in the heart of Tangier. It is on the top floor of the building (5th) with a nice terrace view over the city and sea and Gibraltar. Apartment was 7minutes walking distance from Medina and town centre. We enjoyed that it was a small and cozy flat with everything you might need, even a washing machine. There were also spare blankets, a hair dryer and bathroom toiletries. Everything was very satisfactory. Owner wrote us instructions on whatsapp on how to get in, as the key was in a safe box which needed a PIN code.

  Disliked: Everything was good. Maybe the building's lift (elevator) was a bit shady, as it didn't want to work for me and it seemed to be without a door between floors, so I didn't use it. I had a small luggage so that was not a big issue for me. However, maybe it was just me and it was fine for others.
