  Ant Infestation Please Be Aware

  Liked: The location was great. Was close to the center of the city.

  Disliked: The apartment had an ant infestation. I’m assuming carpenter ants. Please don’t waste your money and find somewhere else to stay. There were clusters of ants everywhere in the apartment. The ants were crawling on the counters, coming from under the sinks, crawling on the walls, and crawling on the bedroom floors. I felt disgusted staying at the apartment and kept worrying that ants would crawl on me or get into my bags. Do not place any type of food or drink on the counter even for a moment—If you do you will see clusters of ants come out. I made booking.com aware of the situation and the owner tried to deny there were any ants—what a joke. There is no way to hide that there is an infestation. If you leave something on the counter for a minute or any location in the apartment you will quickly see clusters of ants. Even if you don’t leave a food item you will still see ants. I attached some pictures to show some of the ants I saw. They are the tiny black dots in the pictures. If I wasn’t so grossed out I would have taken pictures of the clusters of ants. Also, the bathroom didn’t have toilet paper upon arrival and the toilet seat was broken. Please bring your own toilet paper. There is just one AC in the apartment living room. It does not reach the two bedrooms bedrooms.
