Exceptional
A beautiful villa overlooking Tangier
Liked: We only stayed for one night, but really enjoyed our time at Villazancot. The villa itself is beautiful, with lovely rooms and fantastic views over the city and the sea. The terrace is probably one of its best features, full of greenery and little trees, with an additional upper level offering even better views. It’s a wonderful spot to relax and take in Tangier. Salah was incredibly welcoming, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent too. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, who stopped by during our stay. He has some fascinating life experiences and it was genuinely lovely getting to know a little of his story. Overall, a beautiful property with great hospitality and plenty of character.
Disliked: Nothing major. We noticed some hair behind the bathroom door, although it may have come from the brush strip at the bottom of the door rather than being overlooked during cleaning. We mentioned it to the team before checking out so they could look into it.

Liked: Excellent location and very peaceful, charming house with beautiful rooms, fantastic gentleman running the place and really lovely breakfast!

Extraordinary service in Tangiers!
Liked: We received a genuinely warm welcome to Morocco from Norbert and Salah. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was possibly the best of our very long travels to date. I particularly liked the music played at breakfast.

Liked: This is a beautifully restored Villa with fantastic original features and tiles. From the rooftop terrace there are great views of the city area, Staff are extremely helpful. Villa is about 600m from edge of Medina and eating areas. Highly recommend - there is nothing to fault
