Good
DO NOT STAY HERE
Liked: The view from the terrace was very nice and breakfast was fine, although it wasn't served until 9:30
Disliked: Probably the worst place I've stayed in Morocco. Here is a list of what was wrong: 1. The room was extremely hot and had no AC/fan. I had about 4-5 cold showers each night to cool down a bit. 2. The room was FULL of mosquitoes, as could be seen by the walls which were covered in blood stains/squished bugs. These two things alone meant that we got almost no sleep at all. Killing them all was impossible because there was an open hole above the door, so they just kept coming back in all night. 3. Muhammad, the loudmouth, hash smoking drunken buffoon of an owner (?) of the place had a party on the rooftop until about midnight where he spent the entire time blasting crappy music from giant speakers and shouting nonsense at the top of his lungs. We were on the ground floor, and even there it was loud. 4. Lots of things in the room we're broken - e.g. the main lights in the room wouldn't turn on, the sink was blocked, the toilet flush switch was missing, and the shower flooded into the bedroom if you weren't careful. There was also dry, crusty urine on the toilet seat when we arrived. If Muhammad spent less money on hash and alcohol and perhaps invested even a tiny amount of money into say, an electric fan (and if he stopped screaming nonsense until midnight), it may have almost been bearable. It's also possible that perhaps the rooms not on the ground floor are better (but then you'd be even closer to the nonsense on the rooftop...). As it was though, we actually ended up checking out a day early because we couldn't stand staying in that dump any longer. How this place has a 7/10 rating on booking is beyond me. AVOID THIS PLACE
⛔️⛔️⛔️⚠️⚠️⚠️🚨🚨🚨 The worst accommodation experience I have ever had
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: If I could give a score lower than zero, I would. From around 10:00 PM until nearly 4:00 AM, people were standing outside in the alley talking and laughing loudly, making it almost impossible to sleep. The biggest problem, however, was the room itself. It was full of biting insects. I woke up around 2:00 AM because of the bites and the noise, and I spent the rest of the night trying to keep the insects away instead of sleeping. My hands became swollen from the number of bites. At around 5:00 AM, I decided to leave because I simply could not stay any longer. I also felt that the room I received did not match the photos shown on the booking page, which was extremely disappointing. The person in charge may be polite, but my experience in this room was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. It even caused me to change my travel plans: I cancelled my flight and returned by bus because I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. My advice: learn from my experience and think carefully before booking.
Bad experience
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: No description The Riad is in the centre of median No parking Need to move and walk alongue diqtance to reach the location Pollutions around No sanitization fixed Bad very bad No view as described They hide the foto of the room to arnaque guests
Disliked: The breakfast was scheduled at 9 am. The man kept watering the plants after I showed up at 09:04. He later went to bring back some bread. The water for tea was still boiling at 09:24. I didn't want to wait any longer and went out to find breakfast.
Liked: The old building and the terrace in the roof
Disliked: Breakfast time was really late
Liked: Wonderful stay! Everyone was so welcoming, sweet and generous; Mohammed even cooked some fantastic seafood for my dinner! The terrace has the best views imaginable!!
