Only stayed on night but again the town is so chilled

Liked: Easy to find within Medina. Roof top view is outstanding. The town itself is fantastic and not at all touristy. A must visit to add to your travel plans. Only took an hour to Tangiers by shared taxi. Can also catch 45 min local bus to M’diq

    Disliked: Nothing.

Worth the price, somewhat good location to stay inside the medina, just don’t choose the ground room if you are weird wi

Liked: Best points: AMAZING rooftop with a great view of the city, very pretty and spacious riad, and the staff were very nice, understanding and flexible

Disliked: We only had a problem with the first room assigned to us, because it was very tall with no windows (ground floor), it had stalled air and so we were very uncomfortable. However they managed to change us to another room for the second night and the new room we loved it.

Great Riad in a Rough Area of the Medina

Liked: The staff here was wonderful! Once inside, the Riad was also well kept, very nicely decorated and offered wonderful rooftop views. In addition, I did have to change my date of stay and the hosts were very accommodating! I didn't stay here long but, for being my first night in Morocco, the decor of the riad blew me away. If I was staying in Tetouan for longer, I think I would have found that I would have chosen to remain in the Riad for the majority of my stay, as the Riad itself offered both indoor and outdoor spaces great for relaxing with a book or visiting with friends/family.

Disliked: I arrived at night, and despite being in the medina found the riad relatively quickly. However, I found that the area of the Medina you had to walk through was essentially the meat market. Chickens were roaming about, meat was sitting out on shelves, etc. which alone is not horrible. But being hot out, when I walked through the medina in the evening and they were hosing down the medina floors, warm water was bouncing meat drippings, animal feces (chicken, cat, dog, etc.) and more into the air. I felt like I was walking through a mist room of bacteria. When I arrived to the riad, I quickly took a shower and found that the smell of the meat market really lingered, even inside, the riad during my stay. I'm not sure that there's much the hosts can do about this, but think it's simply an unfortunate location for an otherwise wonderful property.

Liked: Loved the location in the medina..especially breakfast on the roof terrace & the view at sunset. Kind hosts, who were patient while I got the hang of the 300 year old front door 😂. Room was basic but comfortable, nice bathroom, & the riad itself really good value for money

    Disliked: Nothing, really

It was a wonderful stay. We spent a very good 6 days with the staff and the city is very clean, safe and beautiful. Big

Liked: The hospitality was very good and the staff was very kind and very friendly.

Disliked: Everything was good but I suggest to add some curtains to the doors in case you want to leave the door open
