  Gezellig!!!!

Liked: It felt cozy and homey, very spacious and the location is perfect. The beautiful big windows overlooked the lively square. You really feel like you’re part of it, you watch the city come to life in the mornings with the sun shining and then at night you can watch the people downstairs having a jolly good time. I had no problem sleeping,it was not loud for me. And this was the middle of the summer in August.

Great location. Cute place. Great if needing to sleep 5

Liked: Location was great. Having a place that slept 5 for our family worked out really well. And having a small kitchen was super useful.

Disliked: Since this is above a couple bars it can be noisy at night. The host provides earplugs which helps, but expect some noise into the early morning.

A cosy loft to return to in between city outings

Liked: It was cosy and very central, a great launchpad for exploring Alkmaar!

Disliked: The lights were all a bit dim, which made bedtime reading difficult, not a big issue though.

Nice apartment, comfortable beds, new bathroom with toiletries was a nice touch. Room far too hot and an air conditionin

Liked: Central location for bars and restaurants, quirky top room with plenty space for 3 or 4 people. Very clean and maintained.

Disliked: Far too hot throughout the property, noise was a problem at night until the early hours.
