  Room was great but due to the noise I wouldn't stay here again

  Liked: Room was much nicer than I had anticipated. Breakfast was really good.

  Disliked: There was so much noise and partying going on all night right outside the hotel. It didn't quiet down until after 3 am.

  Liked: The location was excellent. The room was spacious, and the bed comfortable.

  Disliked: En suite loo and shower were screened off, but there were no doors for complete privacy.

  perfect location with friendly old world charm

  Liked: In the middle of the nice old quarter of Alkmaar. Very nice restaurant downstairs. Comfortable room, but with a bit of street noise from the narrow pedestrian street. Very friendly atmosphere and lots of character in these old houses.

  Disliked: A shower curtain would have been a welcome improvement, as the whole bathroom was wet and slippery after using the shower.

  Liked: Excellent location.

  Disliked: The room has a bathroom and a toilet as part of the room. Very unpleasant. At night you can hear the air conditioning and the units from the kitchen. Very unpleasant. Not suitable for tourists with their own car, it is almost impossible to park in the area, the garage is about 800 meters away.
