Liked: Heel erg leuk aangekleed in jaren zeventig sfeer! Super schone badkamer!

  Wonderful find in Alkmaar

Liked: Staff was terrific. Super nice and helpful. Food in the restaurant was delicious and I highly recommend eating dinner and also breakfast there. That was the best breakfast of our trip. Room was comfortable and the courtyard was great for leaving our bikes securely.

Disliked: A hand or dish towel in the kitchen would be great. And the shower is a little tight but the water pressure is good and lots of hot water.

  Short getaway in Alkmaar

Liked: The location was perfect, the staff was really nice and helpful. Easy and fast check-in and check-out. Full kitchen appliances, the bathroom is modern and clean.

Disliked: It's pretty cold inside, there is only small heater available. The place is crammed with many things so there is less space for my belongings. Smells like old, not enough ventilation in the inner area.

Charming area of Alkmaar with all amenities that we needed and breakfast was amazing

Liked: It was in a very pretty part of town, but not very easy to get to with a car.

Disliked: It was not made clear to us that we could not go in front of the hotel/restaurant to unpacked. We accidentally drove on lane that was only for pedestrian. Not clearly marked, not the host’s fault

  A blast from the past

Liked: The hostess was very friendly, welcoming and helpful! The place is very cozy and well decorated. Fun theme. Location is awesome. Wolf and Bear (the cats) were very sweet and affectionate. The breakfast is a feast! I think Wolf noticed us having trouble finishing it all so he tried to get some bites in... All in all a very lovely place I'd wholeheartedly recommend.

Disliked: It can get a bit noisy but it was within expectation. The bathroom smells slightly funky.
