Liked: The apartment was in a fantastic location of lovely Alkmaar and had everything you need, including being warm and peaceful! Grace and Vincent had prepared a helpful list of places to eat and drink in the area and were keen to help with any recommendations and questions.

Very enjoyable stay in a little oasis in the city

Liked: It was lovely to stay in this unusual and historic courtyard building whilst enjoying its modern amenities. It’s very quiet despite being in the vibrant city centre, it’s also close to Oosterhout Parkrun. It was interesting to hear the story about the building from Grace and all communication was excellent. Recommendations about where to visit and eat were appreciated, especially the new Oscars bakery.

  Disliked: Nothing, all was excellent

  Perfect location in central Alkmaar

Liked: Very convenient position, close to town centre. Very clean and secure. Quiet and private. Grace the host was very welcoming and helpful. Great communication regarding our stay.

Disliked: The bathroom and kitchen on the ground floor with a very steep winding staircase up to the bedroom which could be a problem for those with limited mobility
