  Cosy, and excellently located, free cuddles with the cat

  Liked: Property is unbelievably cosy, located extremely centrally in the city with a tram stop outside. View from the apartment is great, good amenities in the room (coffee machine, tea, TV, iron), bed honestly one of the most comfortable we have slept on, and Willem has clearly thought about the little things that make your stay more memorable and special. Very responsive to questions as well. Bonus: cuddles with Max the cat.

  Disliked: Not things we didn’t like but a few non-negative “to be aware” things: - Everyone talks about the stairs - yes, they are steep, but no different to all other stairs in Amsterdam! - Although called A B&B, there is no breakfast. It should be called A B&C (A Bed & Cat)! - Two great pubs outside (but you’ll need earplugs!)

  Enjoyed our stay and Max the cat was an added bonus

  Liked: Location provides for a more authentic Amsterdam experience than larger hotels. Cafe Marcella, next door to apartment has a wonderful terrace, great beer selection and tasty snacks. Apartment has a lovely bay window with small table and two chairs. Really enjoyed watching people and canal boats pass by from this chill spot.

  Disliked: Can be noisy late at night, but that’s the trade off with be immersed in the city.

  Great central location for a stay in Amsterdam

  Liked: Great location. Sunny view from apartment. Nice nook to have morning coffee or late afternoon wine and cheese. Good bed - slept really well. Facilities good. Free coffee was a plus.

  Liked: The location was great and everything was in walking distance. The bed was extremely comfortable one of the best I've slept on. Willem and his friendly cats were absolute legends.
