  Bar downstairs

Liked: Cheapest room you can get

Disliked: The hotel rooms are above a bar. During my stay, there was a party until 4am, closing the window didn't help at all. And it was super hot in the room

  Bare minimum

Liked: - Breakfast included in price - Staff were friendly and helpful - Lovely black cat - Curtains on the beds

Disliked: - Only one combined toilet/shower/wetroom/ bathroom in a room of 15 people - Wetroom floor was slippery - Shower handles weren’t labelled hot or cold - Bed ladder was right against beds so hard to climb - Bed was short/small (and I am average height) - No curtain between neighbouring beds, only with main room - You could hear some music from the main road - Cat mostly slept on a black chair and must have got sat on at some point - Breakfast was a single toaster and some cereal for over a hundred people - Found another hostel near Kloveniersburgwar for half the price and double the quality - Cash only, and this is not explained properly in the booking confirmation.

Central but loud hostel in Amsterdam’s center

Liked: The location was really good, close to bars, clubs and restaurants

Disliked: for the same reason it was super loud during nights, even at 6-7 am you can hear the loud music and screams
