  Well located accommodation but not for everyone

  Liked: The location was superb. We were able to walk from Centraal station in about 20 minutes. The place is canal side in Jordaan which is full of little shops, cafes and restaurants. The main museums were walkable, the place was a short walk to Dam Square, close to the Nine Streets and Anne Frank House it was convenient and I guess typical of a small canal side house.

  Disliked: The entrance lobby is miniscule. We were warned that stairs were steep. What is not fully explained is that the treads on the stairs are seriously narrow and there is no hand rail. So getting even a walk-on roller suitcase up the stairs presents a problem. And coming down was interesting! The place itself is quite small.There are no cooking facilities. There is a Nespresso machine. The bed sits on a high plinth and one has to climb up and then crawl across the bed from the foot. There is no side access. So a bit of a challenge in the middle of the night!

  Liked: Great Location! Beautiful view of the canal. Loads of places to visit and eat in close proximity. Close enough walk to the Train Station.

  Disliked: No place to unpack clothes, not too bad for a short stay but anything more than a few nights could be a ln issue for some.

  Liked: In a lovely central area, really nice right by the canal, lots of places to eat and easy walking to the main hub of Amsterdam. Supermarket just down the road and a place called bun bun that did the most amazing pistachio buns The facilities were clean and comfortable, a nice big bed and supplied with toiletries which was a bonus. Equipped with crockery, fridge and a coffee machine. Loved the fact there was an iron and ironing board as you don't always get these items even in expensive hotels. Lovely view from the room and a comfy sofa

  Disliked: The sink in the bathroom is really small for cleaning teeth, stairs are a bit steep but I don't think they are as bad as other reviews make out, I'm quite a clumsy person and I managed them. I would have liked a towel for my hair and I think it would be amazing if you added a microwave in there on the wall maybe so you can get food from the local supermarket if you don't fancy eating out.

  We enjoyed our stay at this apartment but pre warn, the stairs are EXTREMELY narrow and steep

  Liked: Only 15 minute walk to Dam square. Pretty view from the window which you could sit by and watch the world go by. Bed was comfortable. Shower was pleasant. Plenty of sockets in the room. Communication great.

  Disliked: Couldn't lower the blinds as there was no handle to do so. Could have done with 2 more pillows. 2 flights of stairs were steeper than what we imagined although we were warned prior to booking.

  Excellent!

  Liked: Really nice studio in a very good location! The neighbourhood is very charming and lots to look at nearby. We loved sitting by the windows and watching the world pass by. All the attractions we easily walkable by foot or by catching the tram. The stairs up to the studio were narrow but it wasn't a problem at all for us. Only thing is it can get quite warm inside the studio, but there was a fan provided. The restaurant downstairs was always very busy so it may be good to invest in some earplugs for sleeping! Very nice & clean, would stay here again:-)
