  Fair but ensure if a single traveller that the room is not on the ground level

  Liked: I upgraded my room to a double. It was clean and the bed comfortable. The man on reception was excellent and questioned if I had actually booked the single allocated. He insisting on showing it to me clearly concerned and said had he another single available would have given me one but only now had doubles available. He could not have been more helpful in wanting me to be comfortable. The property is not far from Central Station and a variety of restaurants.

  Disliked: The room lacked any shelving for items such as jumpers. I booked a single room on 24 March 2026, just over 7 months prior to my stay. The single I was allocated on the ground floor was abysmal and subsequently I paid extra to upgrade to a double room. As there were other single rooms already in use I had no option but to pay extra for a double room. I find it hard to believe in having booked so far in advance that not one of those better singles were not available and I was allocated what I can only describe a room that was disgusting.

  Dissapointment

  Liked: Good location and friendly staff

  Disliked: The ground floor room is extremely small—it feels just like a train bunk. The bed is raised high, so you literally have to climb up to get into it. If you need to use the bathroom at night, you think twice before trying to climb down. Disappointing. This is not a real hotel room

  As expected given the price

  Liked: Great location, right next door to my favourite coffee shop (Popeyes) Price was good (well good for Amsterdam)

  Wont be returning ever again. Disaster

  Liked: Nothing

  Disliked: Everything. It was a terrible hotel. Capped off with a sneaky charge of 20 euro for a lost room card that was not flagged at all when arriving. No coffee available in the morning. Staff member physically tried to accost me on the way out to try and make me pay 20 euro for the room card. Overall a harrowing experience - NEVER stay here anyone!
