  Great location, but very expensive for type of apartment. No shower, must stand in bath to shower with very low water pr

  Disliked: Very very old. Shower pressure very low. Cold water in shower does not work, only hot water. Very old fashioned, but I suppose it is the type of look?

  Beautiful townhouse stay on Prinsengracht

  Liked: Beautiful townhouse in an amazing location along Prinsengracht. The room is so cozy (the bed especially so) and was thoughtfully stocked with amenities like toiletries and drinks. We got very lucky and were able to watch the annual Prinsengrachtconcert from the window.

  Disliked: Not negatives in my experience, but the property is accessed via steep stairs that are very typically of Amsterdam townhouses. The bed is also close to the window and you can occasionally hear noises from the street - earplugs were provided for guests’ comfort during our stay.

  Excellent location and beautiful space

  Liked: The location of the property was fantastic. We were located right on the 9 streets and very close to the Anne Frank House. Even though centrally located, the place was very quaint and at a walking distance from all relevant places one would like to visit when in Amsterdam. The owner of the house also lives in the floor above and he was very friendly. We had a great time!

  Highly recommend. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I went back!

  Liked: The location was perfect. Right on a canal and within walking distance to all attractions. It was like a studio apartment on the second floor. Had everything we needed. Fridge was partially stocked with beverages. Portable air conditioner kept the room very cool. Microwave heated up or leftovers. TV had premium channels like Netflix.

  Disliked: It’s not the easiest to find. There is a tiny somber sign hidden behind a small potted tree. Also, because homes in Amsterdam are necessarily narrow, the stairs tend to be very steep. Fortunately I’m still in good enough shape to get up and down.

  A perfectly appointed canalside stay with everything you need

  Liked: A clean and comfortable room with a kitchenette. Had everything we needed plus a lovely canal view and great location.

  Disliked: It was a little noisy on the street with the window open as the canal is busy (hardly their fault!) and they provided ear plugs
