  Liked: The location is very good, close to everything. The room has everything you need.

  Perfect location. Good value for Amsterdam if you’re not too fussy about luxury and steep stairs!!

  Liked: The location is perfect, just outside of the main centre but easy walking to all the main areas. Tram stops close by too. Plenty of supermarkets close by. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was warm. The host was lovely and welcoming, even brought us some beers on the first night. Lovely to see wild parakeets in the tree from the back windows. We felt safe. Perfect for us.

  Disliked: The apartment is dated and could do with some redecoration. The bathroom has a nasty odour but probably because the building is older, no fault of the host. Kitchen could do with a refresh and few more utensils/some bowls.

  Liked: I highly recommend staying at Frank & Chong's The room is very big and very clean. The kitchen is clean and has everything. There is always hot water in the shower. The room is located in a great area, within walking distance of all the attractions of the city. Mr. Chong is a very nice person, the stairs at the entrance are narrow and he helps lift the luggage. Always available to his guests. We would definitely love to come back again.

  Value for money with best location

  Liked: Good apartment in the city center with windows into country yard to spend a long weekend in Amsterdam. A lot of nice places and sights around. Spacious room. private bathroom, a lot of sunlight. The host is very friendly and ready to help. Definitely recommend this place to stay!

  Disliked: Old building (I love them, but for someone it can be tough), a bit dusty.

  Well located and comfortable

  Liked: Chong was a really great host - responsive, kind and accomodating. The property was really large, well located, and very quiet for Amsterdam. Shower pressure was good and the hot water was quick!

  Disliked: These are only minor concerns but still worth mentioning: 1) the stairs up to the accommodation are STEEP, narrow and long. I was only travelling with a backpack so it was fine for me but it would be very difficult to get a suitcase up there! 2) the bathroom is old and appears probably more dirty than it really is… a good deep clean would be a good idea; 3) the bedding needs replacing - the sheets are pilling and thus are quite scratchy on the skin.
