  Central and convenient with comfy beds

  Liked: Right in the centre of red light district so easily accessible, really comfy beds, very friendly and helpful staff

  Disliked: As mentioned it’s in the red light district so can be very loud - bring ear plugs (they also sell at reception which is thoughtful)

  One of the better hostels I've stayed at in Amsterdam

  Liked: I enjoyed staying at this hostel. I have stayed in a few hostels in Amsterdam and this is one of the better ones. The beds were comfertable and the climate of the room was plesant (air conditioned). Despite some of the other guests in my room being a little bit messy, the staff did their best to keep ontop of the mess with daily cleaning. The staff I encountered were all friendly, welcoming, and professional. I would like to thank every one of them for making my stay plesant. I like this location due to it being in the heart of the red light district where Amsterdam comes alive. Surprisingly, despite the location, the noise wasn't overly disruptive or intrusive as it can be with other hostels. Very nice shower and toilet in the rooms. Shower gel/ hand-wash was provided which is a bonus.

  Disliked: The guests of the hostel would benefit more toilets for guests to use. Having 8 people sharing a room with a single combined toilet/ shower room resulted in difficulty accessing the toilet or shower. The hostel has it's own key system for the lockers in the rooms. I like that they're probably more secure and you don't have to bring a padlock - but i was constantly worried about losing my key, checking for it all of the time, and replacement keys cost if you do lose them. Some of the ceilings in the stairways are low, so if you're tall and drunk you will bang your head. But if I'm being honest none of that would put me off returning.

The property does not have parking. However, an address for parking will be provided on request.

A deposit of EUR 50 is required upon arrival for private rooms, and EUR 100 is required for rooms with 6 or more beds.

A deposit of EUR 20 is required for beds in shared dorms, as well as a towel, room key, and locker key.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

A deposit may be required at the property.
