  Liked: Perfect little room in the heart of the museum and concert districts. Exactly what we expected. Comfortable beds. Wonderful breakfast. Very helpful staff. Close to transport.

  Comfortable, friendly decently priced hotel conveniently located

  Liked: A very comfortable old style hotel located close to the museums and to a direct bus to the airport. Very welcoming staff and decent sized room. Near the activity but on a quiet street.

  Disliked: Expensive but moderately priced according to Amsterdam standards.

  It was absolutely wonderful!

  Liked: The staff were always cheerful and smiling, and their hospitality was outstanding. The hotel was easily accessible from the airport by a direct airport bus, making the journey very convenient. There was also a tram stop near the airport bus stop, so it was easy to explore Amsterdam's main attractions and get to Amsterdam Central Station. Both the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum were within walking distance, which made it especially convenient to visit the museums early in the morning before they got crowded.

  Disliked: There was no refrigerator in the room, so I had to eat any food I bought from the supermarket on the same day. However, this wasn't a major inconvenience, as there were supermarkets within walking distance.

  Could not think of a better place to stay in Amsterdam

  Liked: We loved everything about this hotel- staff( Mia and Alicia), beautiful building, our room, cold fresh drinking water in lobby, honor system bar for beer, wine tea etc. We could walk everywhere from the hotel.

  Liked: The building: an old-fashioned elegant building with a lot of character, which I like and value. The staff: on arrival at this hotel, Tessa gave us a friendly welcome and was very helpful. She offered us a map and showed us how to go about Amsterdam. She was very knowledgeable and accurate and her English was perfect. She continued to be helpful throughout our stay. We also met other members of staff who were very friendly and helpful too.
